I joined Durrants in 1996 as one of two members of a nascent customer service team. Over the next 10 years the media monitoring industry underwent a period of rapid change and during this time I played a pivotal role in developing a professional client management team which put the needs of the customer firmly at its core.
I have been a freelance media analyst since 2007 having taken a career break to look after my two young children. Since that time I have provided analysis for variety of clients across a number of sectors and I have worked on both long term accounts and short term projects. I am able to provide rapid turnarounds when needed. I take a proactive approach to media analysis and help clients to identify the actual reported key themes for their PR campaigns – not just the messages that they may have planned for – allowing them to respond and adapt as the campaign progresses.
I graduated from Durham University in 1994 with a BA in Theology and live in Essex where I can frequently be spotted running around the fields with two small dogs in tow.
