My background is in the tourism and marketing industry, with almost 20 years experience in event management, marketing and evaluation for a number of public and private organisations. Over this time I developed a specialist knowledge of proofreading.
It was in 2011 that I became a freelance analyst, a job which plays perfectly to many of my key skills and strengths and which I am enjoying more than ever. I am responsible for training other analysts and proofreaders and am renowned for my diligence and attention to detail. I have undertaken roles as project administrator and operational manager on a number of projects, including providing media intelligence programmes, analysing, proofreading and producing daily press summaries. Over the years, I have worked on media intelligence programmes for multinational consumer firms, tourism bodies, charities and NGOs. I have a BA Honours Degree in French, and have occasionally used this knowledge in my analysis work.
One of the things I like to do in my spare time is read, although I find it hard to switch off the proofreader in me!
